FG reiterates commitment to business-friendly environment

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, says the Federal Government is committed to creating business-friendly environment.

This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Mohammed Manga, the Director of Information and Public Relations in the ministry in Abuja on Tuesday.

The minister said this in a crucial meeting with the President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote

The meeting focused on the need to enhance private sector participation.

The minister said that the move was to boost the country’s economic growth and development, adding that the government was committed to creating a safe and conducive environment that would foster private sector investments.

Edun said that the aim was to unlock new economic potential, as well as to create job opportunities for the teeming youth in the country.

The minister said that President Bola Tinubu was committed to creating business-friendly environment that fosters enterprise growth.

According to the minister, the Federal Government will continue to implement supportive policies and reforms aimed at unlocking the private sector’s potential, driving innovation, and accelerating sustainable economic transformation.

Edun said that the government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and the private sector’s eagerness to invest, Nigeria was poised for sustainable economic transformation and growth.

He said that the partnership between the government and the Dangote Group was a significant step towards unlocking the country’s economic potential.

The meeting was attended by Chairmen of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr Zacch Adedeji, MRS Oil & Gas, Sayyu Dantata, and Maryam Ibrahim, the Special Adviser to the minister.
