She assured LASU workers of her administration’s commitment to their welfare.

“As you strive to earn a living, I urge you to prioritise your health.

“Go for regular medical check-ups, rest when your body calls for it and take care of yourself through proper nutrition and regular exercise.

“As we celebrate today, please be assured that our administration remains committed to prioritising your welfare, recognising that every labourer deserves to be rewarded.

“Your hard work, often under challenging conditions, speaks volumes of your professionalism and belief in what we are building together,” she said.

She added that the 2025 Workers Day presented a meaningful opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the remarkable dedication, resilience and passion that define workforce at LASU.

“As we welcome a new month today, we also join the global community in celebrating International Workers Day.

“On behalf of the university management, I extend warm wishes for a joyful International Workers Day and a prosperous new month to each and every one of you.

“I am deeply grateful for your unwavering commitment to our shared vision to make LASU not just the best in Nigeria, but a shining beacon across our sub-region,” she said.

She assured LASU workers of a continued safe environment.

“Our tireless support staff, who ensure our environment remains safe and welcoming, your efforts are the lifeblood of this university.

“Each of you play an indispensable role in our continued growth and success.
