The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Alimosho Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State says it is prepared to assume leadership across the LGA and its five LCDAs.

Alh. Isiaka Shodiya, PDP Chairman in Alimosho LGA, toldour correspondent on Saturday that the party’s chances remain bright in the July 12 elections.

He said party leaders and loyalists were inspired to mobilise support for PDP candidates in Alimosho LGA, Igando Ikotun, Egbe-Idimu, Mosan Okunola, Ayobo-Ipaja and Agbado-Oke Odo.

“We are proud of the PDP today. We are united and determined to win across all council areas in this local government.

“PDP is fully on ground in Alimosho and Lagos State. By the special grace of Almighty God, we shall be victorious,” Shodiya said.

He called on the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) to ensure a transparent, credible, and fair electoral process.

“We are ready to take over governance, carry people’s burdens, and guarantee the security and welfare of all residents,” he noted.

Shodiya accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of failing to deliver on its electoral promises to the people.

“PDP intends to bring real hope to grassroots communities and ensure that development reaches every corner,” he said.

He urged voters in Alimosho and across Lagos to turn out en masse on July 12 and support the PDP.

“We will not disappoint the people. We understand their suffering and will deliver on our promises.

“If given the mandate, we will serve Lagos better and bring real change,” Shodiya said.

Our correspondent reports that the PDP unveiled its chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the elections on Wednesday in Lagos.
