Insecurity: OPC pledges support for Aiyedatiwa

The Ondo State chapter of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) has pledged support for the state government in the fight against insecurity in the state.

The State Coordinator of OPC, Comrade Pius Ogunsanya, stated this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Okitipupa on Sunday.

Ogunsanya, said that the Congress was ready to offer helping hand to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in his current efforts to tackle incessant attacks by herdsmen on farmers and communities in the state, and other security challenges.

He said that the priority of OPC in the state was to join forces with other security agencies to help the governor fight insecurity.

“The OPC in Ondo State is ready to lend support on securing the state and return it back to the former position as number one peaceful state in the federation.

“I’m appealing to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to embrace our genuine desire to join forces with other security agencies in the state to put permanent solution to the raging insecurity bedevilling the state in recent times,” he stated.
