Yusuf made the commendation while receiving the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Kaduna, Maj.-Gen. Abubakar Wase, paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Kano.

The Governor expressed appreciation to the military for their dedication and thanked President Bola Tinubu for appointing competent service chiefs who were committed to national security.

Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting security agencies in combating banditry, kidnapping, and cattle rustling.

Wase said that he visited Kano to assess the security situations in Shanono and Tsanyawa Local Governments.
