Lawmakers representing Kajuru Constituency at the National Assembly and the Kaduna State House of Assembly have commended Gov. Uba Sani of Kaduna State for his swift response to the recent kidnapping incident in Kurmin Wali village.

The commendation is contained in a joint statement issued on Friday by Rep. Fidelix Bagudu, representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, and Usman Danlami, member representing Kajuru Constituency at the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

The lawmakers expressed appreciation for the Governor’s prompt visit to the affected community, describing it as a demonstration of commitment to the safety and wellbeing of the people.

They expressed deep concern over the kidnapping incident and sympathised with the families of the abducted victims and residents of Kurmin Wali community.

According to the statement, the governor assured the community that the Kaduna State Government, in collaboration with the Federal Government, would work tirelessly to secure the safe release of the abducted persons.

The lawmakers also welcomed the approval for the establishment of a military formation in Kurmin Wali, following the governor’s request to the Minister of Defence, retired Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa.
