30 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food – NPA

33 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports- NPA

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 30 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods will arrive at Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos.

The NPA, in its “Daily Shipping Position”, on Monday disclosed that the vessels are expected from Jan. 26 to Feb. 6.

It said the 20 of the expected ships contained containers of different goods while others would arrive with gasoline, urea, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, bulk gas, bulk fertilizer and general cargoes.

The NPA noted that 12 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the Lagos ports, waiting to berth with alkaline, container, bulk urea, general cargoes, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat and empty containers.

It also stated that 22 ships were presently discharging bulk urea, crude oil, base oil, general cargoes , bulk gypsum, containers, bulk wheat, raw crude oil and aviation fuel, at Tincan, Apapa and Lekki ports
