34 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 34 ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods will arrive at Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos.

The NPA, in its “Daily Shipping Position’, on Thursday, disclosed that the vessels are expected from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6.

It said the 20 of the expected ships contained containers of different goods others are: petrol aviation fuel , crude oil, general cargo, bulk fertilizer and fresh fish.

The NPA noted that 13 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with crude oil, general cargoes, bulk gypsum, containers and bulk urea.

It also stated that 19 ships were already discharging general cargo, bulk wheat, bulk gas diesel, crude oil, base oil, bulk gypsum and bulk urea.

Other items were petrol, fresh fish and containers of different goods at Tincan, Apapa and Lekki ports.
