The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has called on members and party supporters to come out en masse and participate in the ongoing electronic registration (E-registration).

This is contained in a statement signed by the party’s Chairman in the state, Mr Olatunji Odeyemi, and made available to newsmen on Monday in Ado-Ekiti.

The statement described the e-registration as a strategic step towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and ensuring an accurate, credible, and up-to-date membership database.

The statement noted that the initiative would enhance internal democracy, promote inclusiveness, and position the party for greater success in future elections.

It said that the exercise was open to both existing members and new entrants who were willing to join the party and contribute to its rebuilding process.

According to the statement, the digital registration process reflects the party’s commitment to modernisation, transparency, and effective coordination at all levels.

The statement reiterated that the PDP remained the best alternative for the people of Ekiti State, stressing that “it is fully prepared to reclaim its mandate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for June 2026.”

The statement expressed confidence that with unity, commitment, and active participation of members, the PDP would emerge victorious at the polls.

It urged party leaders at the ward, local government, and state levels to mobilise members and ensure a seamless registration process in their respective areas.

The statement added that the strength of any political party lies in its membership base, calling on stakeholders to take the exercise seriously.

It appealed to the youths, women, and professionals across the state to seize the opportunity to register, assuring them that the PDP remained committed to policies and programmes that would restore the lost glory of Ekiti State and improve the welfare of its citizens.

The statement concluded by calling for unity among party faithful, noting that collective effort and unwavering dedication would pave the way for the party’s success in 2026.
