The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, says he is strengthened by President Bola Tinubu’s enduring belief in his capacity.

Oyebamiji made the remark following a recent meeting with the President on Monday evening in Abuja, ahead of the Aug. 15, off-cycle governorship election in the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Lagos, the APC flagbearer described the meeting with Tinubu as reassuring and pivotal to his resolve to promote unity and sustainable development in Osun.

“I am strengthened by Mr President’s enduring belief in my capacity and in the principles of responsible leadership and development,” he said.

Oyebamiji added that the President’s support reinforced his determination to offer purposeful leadership anchored on economic renewal and people-centred policies.

“The engagement has renewed my commitment to consolidate party unity and deepen grassroots mobilisation across Osun,” he stated.

Oyebamiji was accompanied to the meeting by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun governor, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.

He said the President’s broader vision for national prosperity would serve as a guide for his development agenda in the state.

“Mr President’s vision for national prosperity provides a clear framework for repositioning Osun for sustainable growth and shared prosperity,” he said.

Describing the task ahead as one of service, Oyebamiji assured residents of inclusive governance and long-term economic stability.

“With unity of purpose and collective effort, we will deliver the Osun of our shared aspirations,” he added.
