2027: APC remains party to beat – Nasarawa speaker

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr Danladi Jatau says the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains the party to beat at all levels, in the upcoming 2027 general election.

Jatau stated this on Tuesday in Lafia, while playing host to over 20 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders of the Eggon extraction, set to dump their party for the APC.

He assured all members, especially those who recently ditched their parties for the APC, of equal opportunities and rights.

The speaker expressed joy with their decision, which he described as timely and well informed.

Jatau revealed that he would inform the governor of the state and the party chairman of their move, after which they would be received officially.

The speaker described their move as another big catch and victory for the ruling party in the state.

Jatau called for loyalty, unity and team work among party members for landslide victory come 2027.

He called on residents to continue to pray and support the administration of President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule, to succeed.

Earlier, the leader of the team, Alh. Abubakar Company, said they were shifting tent as a result of the development and quality leadership of Gov. Sule and the speaker.

He added that they would add value to the party and ensure the victory of the party beyond 2027.
