The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro, said President Bola Tinubu’s administration would continue to prioritise the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians.

The minister said this after being conferred chieftaincy title along with his wife by the Olowa of Igbara-Oke, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, in Ondo State on Monday.

Our correspondent reports that the traditional ruler conferred Otunba Bobajiro of Igbara-Oke and Yeye Bobajiro of Igbara-Oke on the minister and his wife, Naomi respectively.

Doro said that though the different reforms of the Tinubu-led administration might be challenging, they would bring the country out of hopelessness.

The minister said the chieftaincy title would prompt him to give more to society, appreciating the traditional ruler and the community for the honour.

Earlier, Oba Agbede noted the ancient community had found the minister and his wife worthy to receive the titles for their humanitarian gestures to mankind.
