20 vessels to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 20 vessels carrying petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Lagos ports.

The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position obtained by our reporter on Wednesday in Lagos.

It said ​‌‌‍​‍⁠⁠‌‌⁠‍⁠‌‌​⁠‌​the vessels are expected to arrive between Aug. 26 and Aug. 30.

It said seven of the expected vessels would carry containers containing various goods, while the remaining 13 would berth with different commodities.

The commodities include crude oil, aviation fuel, bulk pallets, bulk wheat, fresh fish and general cargo.

Meanwhile, the NPA said 11 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth.

The vessels are expected to berth with bulk urea, petrol, aviation fuel, diesel, bulk pallets, bulk wheat and bulk fertiliser.

The authority also said 13 vessels were currently discharging bulk wheat, containers, fresh fish, general cargo and petrol at the three ports.

The ports are Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa Port and Tin Can Island Port.
