BBNaija: Goddessa opens up on Araga, future after eviction
Goddessa, the just evicted Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, has opened up on her relationship with fellow housemate Araga following her eviction from the reality show.
Goddessa, who spent five weeks in the “Show Ya Sef” house, described Araga as “a very demanding young man” while speaking with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during her exit interview on the live show.
She, however, said she cared about Araga despite the difficulties they experienced during their time together in the house.
“I did care about him, but I think he’s a very demanding young man,” she said.
Goddessa and Araga’s relationship became one of the notable storylines of the season after the pair developed a romantic connection and shared the season’s first on-screen kiss.
Their relationship subsequently experienced moments of affection, disagreements, jealousy and discussions about personal boundaries.
Goddessa’s eviction on Sunday, Aug. 30, alongside fellow housemate Sultex, brought her five-week journey in the reality show to an end.
In a statement shared on X, her team described her as “out but not down”, saying the end of her Big Brother journey would not mark the end of her ambitions.
Goddessa, whose real name is Lovette Okechukwu, is a musician from Abia State and promoted her music and creative interests during her time in the house.
Her exit interview with Ebuka also focused on her experience in the house and her plans following her departure from the competition.
Also evicted was Sultex. They were among the housemates put up for possible eviction in the latest week of the competition, alongside other nominated contestants.
Their evictions was announced during the live eviction show on Sunday, bringing their stay in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house to an end.
The 11th season of Big Brother Naija continues with the remaining housemates competing for the grand prize.
