‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ grosses N2.3bn in West Africa

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has grossed N2.3 billion at the West African box office, according to FilmOne Entertainment.

The distributor disclosed this in a post on its official Instagram page on Tuesday, describing the Marvel Studios movie as the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time in the region.

Filmhouse said the film had also maintained the number one position for eight consecutive weekends.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day maintains its stand as the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time, holding the number one spot for eight consecutive weekends, grossing N2.3 billion,” FilmOne wrote.

The entertainment company thanked audiences across West Africa for the milestone and noted that the film was still showing in cinemas nationwide.
