Eko 57 mobilises support for Tinubu, APC candidates in Agege

The Eko 57 support group on Wednesday visited Agege Local Government to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.

A statement by Mr Rasheed Olayiwola, Supervisor for Information to the council chairman said Mr Kehinde Adams, Convener of Eko 57, led the delegation to the council secretariat.
Olayiwola said they met with Mr Abdul-Ganiyu Obasa, Chairman of Agege Local Government and other APC leaders.
It was reported that the visit was part of efforts by the group to strengthen grassroots support for Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adams popularly known as Lege Miami said the group was committed to rallying support for Tinubu and APC candidates across the state.
Obasa, while receiving the delegation, said sustained engagement among political stakeholders was important to promoting understanding, cooperation and stronger community relations.
He thanked Eko 57 for the visit and reaffirmed the council’s commitment to engaging political and community groups.
Vice Chairman of the council, Mr Sodiq Azeez commended the initiative, saying dialogue among government, political groups and community stakeholders would promote greater cooperation.
Alhaji Fatai Bisiriyu, APC Chairman in the council, described the visit as a positive demonstration of collaboration.
Bisiriyu explained that unity remained essential to strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure.
The meeting also featured discussions on political mobilisation and community engagement.
It had in attendance councillors, cabinet members and other stakeholders.
