Group says re-electing Tinubu in 2027 critical to national stability

All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, Fatima Umar-Shinkafi Support Group, says re-electing President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027 is critical for Nigeria’s stability.

Chairman of the group, Prof. Kabiru Jabaka, stated this on Tuesday in Abuja while receiving members who paid him a courtesy visit.

“It is important to re-elect Tinubu in 2027 for the country’s stability, equity, national cohesion and social justice. These are three ingredients without which you can’t have stability anywhere in the world.

“So there is the need to give Tinubu a second chance, and we are ready to carry Nigerians along, educate and enlighten them on his economic reforms, policies and achievements, and why we must re-elect him.

“We know our targets and we have capable hands to reach out to any group of people in the country, governmental actors, political stakeholders and Nigerians across board.

“By God’s grace, we have the full support of our sponsors to reach our targets and to achieve our objectives, which is the re-election of Tinubu,” he said.

Jabaka maintained that the group had what it would take to thrash the opposition in 2027.

He commended Tinubu for appointing Abubakar Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara, as Director-General of APC Presidential Campaign Council and congratulated the party on the appointment, which he described as worthwhile.

“We believe his appointment will ease the task on the party. We are sure that with Yari being the sailor, we will have a smooth sail in 2027 election,” he said.

Jabaka also congratulated the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nantewe Yilwatda, party members and all Nigerians for being in charge.

He assured that with Yari as the APC campaign council director-general, the party would win the 2027 presidential election with ease.

Jabaka reaffirmed the group’s commitment to working with the council to ensure the re-election of Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

“The group is under the leadership of Fatima Umaru-Shinkafi, a woman with a great reputation in Zamfara, whose kind gesture cuts across the state and beyond,” he stated.

He said the group would work to enlighten the public on the legacy and achievements of the Tinubu-led administration which he said was not known to most people.

According to him, the group already has a compendium of the legacies and achievements of the Tinubu-led administration which it intends to show to the public during campaigns.

“We will also take it upon ourselves to bring Nigerians to terms with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the prospects and the gains from it,” he said.
