Experts to train SMEs on branding Friday
The Executive Director of Rain Oil Ltd, Mrs. Godrey Ogbeche and Lead Consultant Thixtle/Convener African-CEO Roundtable on CSR, Mrs. Ini Onuk, are among experts that will train over 100 startups at the 2015 Brand Forum on the importance of branding for local businesses.
Holding on Friday, December 4, the organizer of the event, Thots & Works, stated that the theme for the 2015 edition of the forum is “Starting Small Growing Big”.
The experts are expected develop the capacity of participating small and medium enterprises in the area of using branding and positioning to grow their businesses from local, national to global reckoning.
The Chief Executive Officer of Thots & Works, Mrs. Ayanfeoluwa Ogunleye explained her company discovered that most SMEs have erroneous mindset that branding is an exclusive right of bigger brands such as MTN, Coca-Cola.
She, however, stated that Ogbeche, one of the experts, who started her oil business with N300, 000 will share the nuggets for positioning and branding a local brand for global competitiveness.
“We are bringing people who have grown a local brand to global reckoning. They will come to enlighten us on what it takes to grow a local business to global brand status. Participation is free.
