A statement by the manager corporate communications Mr Yakubu Dati said the first batch of successful candidates being notified through text messages on their mobile phones were expected to report to the Human Resources Department of the Authority, with effect from the 16th June, to the 15th September, 2016 for Medicals, background checks and induction training.

According to Dati, successful candidates were expected to come with their unique ID number, Original Certificates/Credentials and other means of identification for screening purposes.

He explained that the candidates under the second and third batches will be communicated consequently.

Last week the airports authority played host to some successful candidates who applied for and participated in the Aviation Security (AVSEC) recruitment exercise last year and promised they will soon be invited for interview and other pre-employment procedures.

Managing Director of FAAN, Engineer Saleh Dunoma had also expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by the applicants, adding that the seeming delay in inviting them for the interview earlier was because of the need to observe due diligence in the employment procedure.

All applicants have been advised to visit FAAN website regularly for further information.
