Ex-Taraba Governor Dambaba Suntai is dead

The immediate past Governor of Taraba State, Dambaba Suntai, is dead.

Suntai, survived an air crash at the Yola Airport in Adamawa State in 2012, which left him on a wheelchair throughout his term as Governor of the state.

Report according to SaharaReporters said that the former Governor died at home where he was undergoing rehabilitation for brain injuries arising from the plane crash.

A former commissioner of information in the state, Emmanuel Bello, has however confirmed the news of his demise.

He promised to provide further details later.
