Cricket: Nigeria moves by a spot, ranked 41 place in T20I



Nigeria has moved by a spot, to 41st position in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s T20I rankings.

This is contained in a statement issued on ICC’s website on Wednesday.

It said Nigeria gained the spot with 1,482 points and now ranked seventh in Africa.

India are top of the log with 8,093 points followed by England with points 7,432, Pakistan with 7,826 and South Africa with 6,336, the highest ranked African team.

According to ICC, the new rankings reflect all T20I series completed since May 2019, with those completed prior to May 2021 weighted at 50 per cent and subsequent series weighted at 100 per cent.
