Budding artiste, “Theekidd”, urges youths to shun violence for better Nigeria

An up and coming artiste, Mustapha Yahaya, known as “Theekidd, on Wednesday urged the youth to desist from violence and gear their strength toward building a better Nigeria.

Theekidd gave the advice during an interview with our reporter on the release of his new single titled “All Day”.

“The youths should not depend on government to do everything for them, they should rise up and discover themselves.

“They should develop their talent and build on it instead of engaging in crimes that can tarnish their image,” he said.

Theekid said that his new single which consists of six tracks with a blend of afrobeat and pop, was aimed at preaching love.

According to him, the love for one another as a nation or community is sacrosanct, considering happenings in the society currently.

“We must show love all day to everyone around us, which explains the name of the EP, ALL DAY,” he said.

The artiste said he started his music journey as a record producer, where he worked with several artistes as part of the recording journey where he developed interest in singing and songwriting.

According to him, In 2021, he dropped his first official single titled “E Go Be”, which can be followed @theekidd888 on Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms.

“My music speaks for itself, I Intend to put my sound which is different from others in the forefront of music with different use of melodical lyrics which are thought out and well sort out,” he said.

TheeKidd is a singer, songwriter and record producer, born on April 17, 1999 and hails from the south western part of Nigeria.

He is known for his street anthems such as “E Go Be” and “All Day”. He is currently not signed to any record label or management.
