Nasarawa APC stakeholders pass vote of confidence on Sule

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Akwanga North Constituency, Nasarawa State, have passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Abdullahi Sule of the state on his concern for the wellbeing of the people in the state.

They also passed vote of confidence on Mr Nehemiah Dandaura, the Deputy Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, on his quality leadership styles.

The stakeholders made the endorsement during a meeting in Akwanga on Monday.

Mr Nathaniel Isah, an APC Chieftain and former councillor representing Nunku ward of Akwanga Local Government Area was seconded by Mr Sunday Hassan, the Speaker, Akwanga Local Government Legislative Council.

The stakeholders emphasised that they decided to endorse Sule and the deputy speaker due to their developmental strides in the constituency.

The stakeholders said that Sule and the deputy speaker were their sole candidates in the 2023 general elections.

They promised their readiness to work tirelessly for the victory of the governor and deputy speaker beyond 2023.

The Chairman, Akwanga Local Government Area, Mr Safiyanu Andaha, Mr Peter Mbucho, the former lawmaker who represented the area, Mr Hassan Abubakar, the state APC Organising Secretary, called on the people of the constituency to support Sule.

Speaking for the trio, Andaha said that they would continue to mobilise the people of the area for their re-election come 2023.

Responding, Dandaura said that the meeting was among other things to brief the critical stakeholders on his ongoing court case over the party primary elections in the area.

He urged the critical stakeholders and the entire people of the constituency to remain focused and patient.

He called on the people of the constituency and the state to live in peace, be law abiding and tolerate one another, irrespective of their affiliations.

The deputy speaker promised his continued determination to provide quality representation at the state legislature as well as consolidate on his achievements if given another mandate.
