Badaru inaugurates Jigawa APC campaign council

Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa on Tuesday inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council for the state for the 2023 general election.

Speaking at the ceremony, which also witnessed the inauguration of the new APC office in Dutse, Badaru expressed optimism that the party would win the 2023 poll at all levels in the state.

He said that the APC plans to embark on door-to-door campaign for both th presidential and governorship election on Wednesday for grassroots mobilisation.

The governor also expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their prayers and support since his assumption of office in 2015.

He said that his administration has been able to create employment opportunities for unemployed youths, resulting in the drop in the unemployment rate in the state from 88 per cent to 33 per cent.
