Trump: U.S. nuclear arsenal “more powerful than ever before”

The U.S. nuclear arsenal is “now far stronger and more powerful than ever before,” President Donald Trump says.

He claimed Wednesday on Twitter that it has been one of his priorities to “renovate and modernize” the U.S. nuclear deterrent.

“Hopefully we will never have to use this power, but there will never be a time that we are not the most powerful nation in the world!” he wrote.
